Smokey 1014 hr (Saturday 2nd March 2019)

Quite a busy day, with a boiler service and its attendant problems, visiting Tesco for petrol, groceries, clothes and a Calne Lions CD/DVD sale in the community area, making phone calls, cooking (well, heating up) and installing a new HDMI cable into the small kitchen TV. Smokey dozed through most of it in the porch.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
The Beatles - Leave My Kitten Alone (Take 4 False Start, Take 5 - Monitor Mix) (recorded 14 August 1964, Abbey Road)
One of the CDs I came home with was Anthology 1 which included this outtake from the Beatles For Sale sessions. Originally by Little Willie John, the Beatles used a version by Johnny Preston as the basis for this cover, recorded after 2200 hr when the session was supposed to be ended. Seventy-five minutes later they had created this version, complete with overdubs, but never used it or attempted to record it again.
