A Day of Weather

The day began with a rainbow and closed with the stirrings of Storm Freya.  The bins have been battened down and the watering cans filled with water to prevent them blowing down the street!

Several injured Hobblers were marshalling at parkrun this morning so it was good to have four fit Hobblers to cheer on around the course.  I've had a relaxed day after that.  Tony disappeared off to Ilkley to do some controlling ahead of tomorrow's event on the moor.  It's our Club's 50th Anniversary this year so the planner has planned a straightforward set of courses on the most recent map, but also a novelty course which is on a map created from three historic maps:  the original OS map from the 70s which should cause some fun; a 70s orienteering map and and an 80s version of the map.

I downloaded my photos from the morning's event, did a bit of washing and prepared the evening meal just in time for Tony's return.
