Bent Under Weight

Smaller trees bent over under the weight of their larger fallen brethren provided the subject for my photo today. There's something of a repeating pattern, but it's probably not quite strong enough and confused by the chaos of twigs going this way and that.

I tried to get a perspective that used the bent over boughs to frame the fallen and split trunk in the middle distance.

The soft sunlight filtered by light clouds provides some texture in the snow and nice bounced light on the undersides of the wood surfaces.
