A Prickly Shot

A flying visit from middle child today and as I saw him off the premises about lunchtime there was a buzzard flying overhead. Looks like it probably had pigeon for lunch judging by the feathers adorning the garden when I went out mid afternoon to find a blip!

The temperature didn’t half drop quickly this afternoon and it was a tad parky when I went out with the camera. Today’s pic features our berberis....a prickly little number if ever there was one! I spotted the tiny little buds right in the middle of the plant and finally managed this shot with extension tubes and a tripod.
