After the Rain

After heavy rain all night we’ve had a lovely day...very, very mild. I actually spent a couple of hours in the garden this afternoon pruning and tidying...I really don’t do gardening and I expect I’ll suffer for it tomorrow!

It would have been my Dads 91st birthday today, I imagine he was turning in his grave at my gardening efforts...especially when I started pruning the rose bushes!

I’ve been waiting for the crocus to come through in sufficient numbers to take a wide angle shot...I love how close I can get to the subject with my 16mm lens. Today I thought I ought to do it before they all died off again.
