Clifftop Walk

Enjoyed a walk along the cliff tops this morning. It was bright and sunny but a touch chilly.

The rocky outcrop is called Dunbuy and Sir Walter Scott mentioned it in his book, 'The Antiquary' the third in the series of 'The Waverley Novels'. He wrote, "the best craigsman that ever speel'd heugh (the best rock climber that ever scaled a cliff) broke his neck on the Dunbuy of Slaines".
