Its the Way It Is

Jean’s London Last Day

Back in Dublin after a very enjoyable time in London. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to visit.

My main blip is a local bee keepers shop in the middle of the city. They keep 8 hives on the roof terrace. How cool is that! I bought some beeswax candles which give a faint scent of honey when they burn. It’s important to buy only good quality candles - cheap ones are not healthy. I have given the photo a vintage look.

Next door is The Fashion & Textile Museum. I love fashion and clothes but only discovered this place too late to visit. For next time. See extra.

I bought my daughter and myself gorgeous flouncy summer dresses in a vintage shop. Roll on summer.

I have to go back and visit The Natural History Museum and see the RAF Museum but they need a day each. Another time.

It was great to see my daughter - we did a lot of chatting and laughing and good to see her happy.

But reality beckons ...

The Party’s Over and Lent is upon us. No choc brownies for this woman for 40 days. Sigh
