An attempt at art

When I saw that this onion had started to grow green shoots, it reminded me of a painting that I love (see Extra.)  So I decided to see if I could do something similar with a photograph.  Here is my effort, the best of about twenty shots I took from different angles.

Today was a really low day for me, I don't know why.  I just felt tired and sad all day.  So I drank tea and watched Great British Baking, which I can now binge watch on Netflix, and it gave me enough energy to make the meatloaves I've been putting off all week.

We actually had a little bit of very light snow today!
