Emu

Firstly thank you all for being the kindest people i know on blip, and leaving comments and starts and hearts on my 2000th blip yesterday, i am totally overwhelmed. Even more surprised that i reached such a huge number so quickly! where did those years fly too?
Although i don't get around to commenting on everyones blips, you are always in my thoughts, thank you again for all your kindness.

Today we drove to Bindoon, a small country town with an award winning Bakery, needless to say what we ate for lunch.
On the drive home, we spotted this Emu strutting his stuff through the bush, he was huge! he started to walk away the closer i got, then he stopped and turned around just enough for this shot. 
The extra shows his unkept feathers.
