Delicate.....

Some of the delphiniums in our garden have flowered for a second time this season. This one is a delicate shade of lilac.... so dainty close up. Yay, we have had more rain today..... quite steady soaking rain at times. By this evening we have had well over 50mm, or 2 inches since it started early yesterday morning. A lot for Blenheim which does not have a high rainfall each year. It is very satisfying watching the plants responding to it. The Maine Coon cats have been coming indoors with very damp coats... they like the rain.
