Shells in the Queen Mother Memorial Garden

The Foxes are in town!

This morning I prepared for their arrival (alongside some household admin), and they walked through the door just after lunch. After much catching up over cups of tea at the kitchen table, Clarissa and I set off for a late afternoon walk to Stockbridge, Inverleith Park, and the Botanic Garden. We stopped at the Queen Mother Memorial Garden, where I photographed these shells.

We played Catan before supper. It was a very close game, eventually won by Mr Fox.

Exercise today: walking (11,945 steps).
