Wave watching

We did very little in the living room today, apart from cleaning it out and removing all the tools that won't be needed there for a while, after which MrM went to the tip local recycling centre yet again.

By then the rain had stopped and we decided to get out for a while, to Beadnell. It was decidedly bracing on the coast, and plans to walk along the beach to the Long Nanny were abandoned as neither of us fancied getting sand blasted! Instead, we walked around the harbour and then continued on to the end of Ebbe's Nook (aka Beadnell Point), a rocky headland, where we stood for a while and watched the waves crashing against the rocks.

Arrived back home just before the rain started again, for a warming stew waiting in the slow cooker. Perfect!
