Marvelous Meal!

A large chicken, onions (with bits of ham), and wonderful thick stuffing (with wild mushrooms). The chicken had been marinated two days ago, then baked, kept in the marinade, and cooked again for a couple of hours in the meantime; the  gravy/sauce made from the reduced marinade was exquisite. I won't even mention the other courses--everything  for a leisurely lunch for seven of us. After lunch Anne and Roger's guest Richard gave a fascinating digital presentation on the painting and mounting of artist Marc Chagall's 1964 ceiling for the Palais Garnier Opera in Paris; Richard assisted in the entire process.
