Tinto Hill

We were back at the Carmichael Estate for the second part of the Tinto Twin orienteering event. Let’s just say that it was a bit wintry with heavy snow showers and slushy snow underfoot. I had an OK run and enjoyed the conditions. We were going to help bringing in controls but in light of the showers this will be done tomorrow. I thought I would get a blip then so we went on a wee scenic drive in a break in the weather and saw this view of Tinto Hill. The contrast between the sunny foreground and snowy hill beyond was rather good.
