Landform at Modern One

Walked along to Modern One, one of Edinburgh's two galleries of modern art.... Guess what the other one is called!
This gallery is in a beautiful building, which was originally a school which my cousins used to attend, John Watsons. This amazing Landform sculpture, by Charles Jencks, is in the Gardens in front of the building.
It changes with the seasons and looked pretty spectacular today in the spring sunshine. The extra is of the garden by the cafe at the back. It was warm enough in the sunshine for a few hardy souls to sit outdoors. They do serve very good food here although today we had just coffee and a scone!
My regular Cursillo group met in Penicuik this afternoon good to catch up with every body and then out to bridge this evening. I just about managed to stay awake.
Had a call from K to say it looks like I has chickenpox. Good to get it over with I guess, two seems a very common age to get it at. Poor wee soul some itchy days ahead!
Managed 14500 steps today, so that's 4/5 days nicely on target.
