After a Hail Shower

7.6C a mix of cloudy then bright and sunny, then heavy squally showers as storm Gareth begins its approach. Wind WSW/SW to 38 mph with gusts to 59 mph by 5pm. Heaviest winds forcast for late this evening.

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour, had a wander round the old quay, and out along the shore side of the park. Zea Servant and the wind turbine sections are finally gone. There was an accident of some sort last week where a crew member was badly injured and later died in hospital. That was the delay to the loading and depatrure of the ship. More turbines are being delivered to the quay this week.

We went as far as the cemetery then turned and came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open).
