It has been a long day. 

The office all day, and then a meeting in the evening. Home at 21:30. 

Blip opportunities almost zero. Politics non stop.

It emerged that at their recent formal meeting, May told Sturgeon to her face that she’s not clever enough to understand how good May’s deal is. The source is impeccable - Blipper Feorlean. He was there. He put it on the record at a House of Commons committee session.

It is a remarkable thing to say on several levels. 

May’s deal was given a good kicking by her own Tory MPs tonight, so perhaps a moment of self evaluation on her part might be a good plan. 

In other news, London’s Attorney General Cox (the UK’s chief law officer) used a bad word on Twitter, directed at a TV journalist. The end result was a memorable phrase -

‘“Bollocks”, says Cox’.  

Anyway, it’s now 22:30 and long past Uncle Iain’s bedtime.
