Sunny afternoon at Sharon Woods

Quite a busy day today, starting with Knitting group this morning - a large group of us this month, with plenty of prayer shawls, Linus blankets, hats, baby hats etc to be blessed. Afterwards, I met up with Roger, and we just had time to get downtown for another Live Music at lunch at Christ Church Cathedral. Very different music this week - a trio, playing Baroque and Renaissance Music, with one guy playing a selection of recorders, another playing lute or guitar, and the girl either singing or playing cello. The lunch was very good too. Then it was back to church for bible study for me, while Roger went off doing other things. It was another beautiful sunny day and fairly mild, so afterwards I went walking at Sharon Woods, where you can see it was warm enough for this turtle to come out and sun himself. The squirrels were busy scurrying around and digging into the leaves on the forest floor, and I managed to capture this chipmunk, as he momentarily kept still! I had to include a shot of bare branches against the gorgeous blue sky!
