ANHINGA ON THE WATCH...

.... dropped into the dam this morning and there was a "special day" for the couple in extra, they were okay for the pic and gave my email if they want some of them.....then spotted this shag Ahinga (darter) quietly watching the proceedings! Thanks to Newcastle Downunder Jen for correcting my bird ID.

Meanwhile across the dam a pelican was quietly preening and then spotted the duckies quietly also preening under a willow tree.
