Brentford Lock

Working from home today but by tea time I needed to get out so went to meet R after work. Brentford dock is the start of the Grand Union Canal that goes to 137 miles to Birmingham with 166 locks.
In the warmer months there are lots of travelling canal boats and some are people that have sold their houses and are spending their retirement on the waterways. There’s quite a community and lots of festivals and of course it looks like a great life in the summer.
