Happiness Is A Hot Pie

I'd read about the marvellous pies created by Calum Franklin and was looking forward to having lunch at the Holborn Dining Room. 

It was everything I expected and more.  It was a real treat.

And Mr Franklin was in the kitchen.  We saw him a few times.  I like to think he was making sure my pie was just right.

Recommended.  I'm going to go back to the Pie Hole tomorrow to pick up a few sausage rolls.

Afterwards we went to one of the most dangerous shops in London.  Foyles.  I escaped after buying only three books. It could have been so many more.

And one the way home after that you get a couple of Extras.  A heron who was happy to pose.  And the instant that a stramash between 2 squirrels graduated into a full on stushie.
