A beautiful sunset

Following a shocking afternoon.

Some will be saying that it was only a matter of time. Many of us felt that New Zealand did not have such hate-filled people. We were wrong. 

Our Prime Minister impressed again with her calm and determined holding to our values as a country, and rejecting any thoughts of equally hate filled vengeance. We will respond as a civilised country.

Will it happen again? 

I hope that we do not wait to see; that legislation is passed to require the confiscation of assault weapons; that  owners of weapons realise that there is no need for them to own multiple guns. Assault weapons are not the cause of such violence. But they are the way such atrocities can be committed.
