Black Cock

It hasn't stopped raining and the sky has been grey, so there was no inclination to get up resulting in a long lay in!  We did go out for a drive and on the way home I took a short cut over Caerphilly mountain (South Wales, UK) to avoid the worse of the evening rush hour traffic.

We passed The Black Cock Inn, not far from Caerphilly Mountain. The scene sums up the day with the dark sky and large puddle across the road. I have no idea why it's called The Black Cock - presumably to do with a male hen?!
