Exhibitor at the RSA again

Enough lounging by the seaside - time to head up to the metropolis on the new wonder transport - yes, the 100-seat Enviro400XLB from Alexander Dennis. Brahma. For there’s the annual ‘New Contemporaries’ exhibition up at the RSA to traipse round.
And one of the entries (by one Daniel Twist) was about James Thomson - the poet who lived up above Currie at Mount Parnassus. Well celebrated he was, locally, though his stuff hasn’t aged well. You were invited to sit awhile and peruse the collection of research to date. Which I did.
Back down for a fiddle about at the boat - I’d removed a sticker about actions to take if rescued by helicopter which irritated me, to find that some previous owner had cut a rough 4x2cm hole in the nice woodwork below it. Gagh. But fear not - I’d found a USB charging socket which neatly fits in the slot with a bit of rasping. So, that was rasped in while the hailstones battered down outside.
And then evening, and an outing along to Boda at Leith to meet up with the daughter, s-i-l and nephew for a beer and then over to Oregano for a pizza. Well, several pizzas actually. But just one for me. And I never even got through all of that.
