SILLY FACE

Hung outside an antique shop at the Fondamente Zattere. After a painting of Giuseppe Archimboldo. I love it. I have made twice an Archimboldo face with fresh fruit and vegetables for silly saturdays.
We started our day with a vaporetto trip through the Canal Grande towards the Ferrovia station. From where we walked to the Campo di Ghetto Nuovo.
in the sestiere Cannareggio. We sat on a bench in the sun and let our thoughts go through the history of mankind, with highlights and deep, deep shadows.
Then we walked eastwards, along small canals, everywhere gatherings of families and schoolchildren on an excursion.
We walked till we reached the Ospedale and the church S. Giovanni and Paolo. At the Celestia we took the 5 vaporetto to the S. Elena park. at the very end of Venice.
Time for a rest, and after that we took another boat to the Fond. Zattere near our home.
