Tassie Devil

...and some other farm animals at the Caravan Park in Huonville. It’s just lovely here. Peaceful, green and pretty on the banks of a little River which feeds into the Huon River near here. They say there are platypus here...I wonder if we will strike it lucky and see one.

We had a very exciting trip through Hobart this morning. We were following sat nav and had to turn left in 300m so Bob moved into the left lane....then we came to an unexpected little road with “left turn only” on it. Then we were in a little back street in the suburbs, going up a one way mountainous track...with the caravan in tow. Lucky we got out of trouble with no incidents other that a bit of a fright. Hobart is small and reasonably quiet but the roads are weird, narrow and often one way. Left over heritage from the colonial days of horse and cart.

Another beautiful day, 22° and sunny. Tomorrow we are meeting an old work mate who moved down here. We haven’t seen her since she got married in Adelaide 20 odd years ago.
