Dipper

Walking by the river this afternoon I saw way in the distance the tell tale white of a dipper standing motionless by the water's edge. Quickly getting  a burst of shots which I hadn't much hope for as it was just a speck down river, it was unfortunate that Poppy decided to go paddling! That was that then.

What a surprise to discover when I got home on the computer that I'd found a breeding pair of dippers out on my dog walk instead of just the one! I will return - without dog!
