Future Housing Estate

This area is all destined to be houses and roads, a year or so from now these trees are likely to be gone. I find it very upsetting to see the destruction of countryside on such a large scale. It seems that hardly a day goes by without another patch of land having hedges hacked down to make way for wire fences while the developers do their worst. Where is all the wildlife going to live? There will be nowhere. Is no one looking after the natural habitat? Does it all have to be about money and gain? Too depressing for words.

John is away for a few days so dog walking is down to me for a short while. I went this way to photograph the trees, as you never know when the chain saws will be there!
