Out in Kowloon today

I really wanted to show Ian & Metsy something quieter/peaceful  in HK so took them to Nan Lian Gardens and Chi Lin Nunnery today, which they loved and were delighted to be at.

We then stopped for lunch and a bit of shopping and then headed to the Walled City Park.

There were many tributes to the work of Jackie Pullinger (Chasing the Dragon) who is a British missionary who brought the gospel to the Walled City.  She is still in Hong Kong and I've missed two opportunities to hear her speak.  We realised that we had all read Jackie Pullinger's book as young people so reading about her and her ministry and seeing the rocks that were dedicated to her inspired us all to re-read her book.

We then came back to DB as the Hamlins wanted to treat us to dinner in the Plaza.  We chose Thai and we really enjoyed our last meal together.

On a not so happy note, Kiki has had two seizures today, quite sad.  Don't know how much longer we will have with her. Poor wee thing!
