The Electrical Man

My grandfather was a Clockwork Man - little more than a toy. But my grandfather made my father who was a Man of Steam. Or, perhaps, the sons of the men who made my grandfather made my father. It is all the same. My father was not a toy. But he was still less than a man - a useful tool perhaps? My father made me - the Electrical Man. I am the equal of any man but I am too useful for them to see me as the threat that I am.

And, of course, I am building my son. The Quantum Man. The Quantum Man will be as far beyond men as men were beyond my grandfather.
