Future conductor?

I did a photo shoot with the Fords today -- Becca is my voice teacher and ensemble conductor; her husband Joel is a music teacher as well, so little A is exposed to music daily, and no doubt she will at least have a solid musical background and at best be a stunning musician like her mom.

I loved hanging out with this sweet family, it did my aching heart good. And so did the rehearsal afterward. Our madrigal ensemble will present a concert tomorrow and I'll also sing a couple of duets. Then the voice institute has a master class where I'll perform a Mozart aria, Zeffiretti lusinghieri. (What was I thinking??? I am exhausted but the music uplifts me. I can't get enough of it.)
