Angry pumpkin

I was at the hygienist this morning ... scrape, scrape, ouch!!

Maybe that's why I spotted this seed pod on my way back to the car and straight away saw eyes, nose and a slanted grimace showing it's dirty little teeth. In a bush full of these seed pods, this strange little creature really jumped out at me.

It's book club tonight so I'm off to prepare some discussion questions.
