Bruny Island seals

Today we caught the vehicular ferry over to Bruny Island off the south east coast of Tasmania. After lunch ( which we didn’t have) we caught a wilderness trip in a small speed boat which went down to the southern ocean. There were few animals except the hundreds of seals - which were very cute. The high cliffs, rock formations, rough seas, caves and funny dialogue from the guides kept us entertained for three hours. This trip has been voted best Australian tourist attraction on numerous occasions including best attraction, best sustainable attraction and best eco tourism attraction. We had great weather and even went around the southern end of the island which is often too rough. Most people had sea sick tablets just in case.
