Meet Patrick O'Squirrel!

Dear Diary,

A new red squirrel showed up on St. Patrick's Day morning, very red with ear tufts and a rather wispy tail.  My guests and I named him Patrick O'Squirrel, Paddy for short.  We thought it most appropriate.  My other squirrels don't sport such long ear tufts so he will be easy to pick out.  He is the first one at the feeding table too.  Guess he wants to beat the rush!
