Standing There

'I saw her standing there' after quite some time pacing up and down the river to try and find my dipper pair.

'Pacing' is perhaps not quite true, more ducking and diving, weaving, tripping and getting scratched with brambles, as this was just a riverbank with no path.  On the time factor it was seconds of shots versus hours of searching - not just searching but pursuing as they fly up and down and by the time you rock up scratched to death with camera they have pedantically decided it's time to move again. My boots? They are in a sad state!

No doubt about it looking at the rings it's not the same bird as the day before yesterday.
