Abbey aperture

Visiting Glastonbury (again! one of our favourite places) and revisiting the ruined abbey. This is in the corner of the Abbot's kitchen, looking up one of the chimneys. I liked the way the light played on the stonework, and the relationship between the flat planes and the curved surfaces. Some more of the Abbey ruins in extras - I thought the addition of architecturally modern metal and glass viewing platforms was clever.
