A Trepidatious Sign of Spring

It snowed (again) last night.  Everything was coated with white when I got up this morning.  However, the sun finally managed to come out of hiding this afternoon, and now there are blue skies for a refreshing change!  Even though it's still cold outside, our ancient magnolia tree is gamely moving ahead with its plans for a pretty pink floral display a month and a half from now.
