Haverthwaite Station (no trains today)

This must be one of the most unusual places to have Registration for an orienteering event. The station was closed to the public and orienteers took it over. I was helping to man Registration and sell places to the particpants who had not entered on line in advance. Very civilised sitting on the platform , admiring the old train and just up platform from the  NW Junior Squad Mums who sell cakes, drinks and bacon rolls to raise money for the Juniors training trips.
