Sign Pollution

When it comes to pointless signs, this one on Los Alamos, which we pass every day (there is one on either side of the road) seems a perfect example of a sign stating the obvious. It would be better if the money was spent on repaving the road which is bone jarringly full of potholes.

We are having a reprieve in the rain today so I took the opportunity to run over to Sonoma to get some new pillows for our bed. Not just any old pillows but decorative ones made by a woman from Finland. OilMan, like many men, does not see the point in all these pillows so he certainly doesn't see any point in new ones when there are already some on there. The fact that I see them as they are part of the decor doesn't compute with him. Especially since he just has to take them off the bed before he can do what he came to do...sleep in it.

Even I can't justify buying the beautiful quilt that goes with them* just for the dog to sleep on. He has already worn out the one on the bed now. But I'm working on it ;-) I do tend to obsess about things like this....
