Snail After Rain

The wonderful news today is that it's rained a little, so pleased. We need a lot more, the Lake is going down fast, presumably for irrigation, the hills turning brown, and the grass crunchy - and it's not even summer yet. 

After church, went for lunch at C and E's, and could hardly believe it when Ricardo came in from his fag break, saying it was raining. Thunder, lightning, and then hail as we walked home, decent sized balls of ice. But still quite warm. All over now, and no more predicted...

- people coming over to us in church to ask how Mike's surgery had gone
