Trauma Teddy

No, the teddy is not suffering trauma, he is not yet finished. For one thing, he has no arms as yet.

I am making it for a scheme in partnership between Children Ist and Police Scotland, to be given to a child to provide comfort and distraction from distressing circumstances.

I don't know who designed the pattern. but it is quite unusual and results in a lot of ends to be run in. I have now finished the knitting stage and, aside from the somewhat unexciting colour scheme, it is beginning to resemble the picture on the pattern. However, whether any child would find comfort from receiving it is a moot point.

Maybe I should stick to axolotls.
