Rocks

Yesterday's storm waves caused quite a bit of damage to the sea wall. This morning, council workmen were out in force to make it safe and closed off the walkway to the public. Some were scooping up debris and others were lowering pre-cast concrete blocks into place where the sea wall top now had gaps. The blocks they were using were the ones used on motorways to form temporary safety barriers.

By contrast, today I am posting a more relaxing image of some well-weathered rocks in the sunshine. I think the light brings out their texture well.
