The Chickies & Ducks are in!

At the farm store, ready for Spring, the bins of chicks and baby ducks are for sale. They seem to pile up under the heat lamps, peeping to beat the band.
The bin shown in this blip holds a straight run of "Americanas" chickens for $1 each.
You take your chance with the straight run. It means you get roosters mixed with hens.
My housekeeper tells me that they are keeping the ducks she bought for her boyfriend in his bathtub. Since our night temps are below freezing they cannot go outside to the baby pool yet (or for a long time).
