A friend's funeral

This was taken in the grounds of Worthing crematorium just before a friend's committal took place. We then went on to our old church for the thanksgiving service for D's life. He was 88 when he suddenly passed away after a fall. He was a 'live life to the full' sort of person, interested in everything and with a strong faith. He was a great encourager to us as a family. Our son taught him to use an iPad at the age of 87 and he was a quick learner and got a lot of use out of it in what turned out to be his final year of life. Both venues were full as so many people wanted to show their appreciation of him. I will always remember his hearty laugh!
