Green hellebores

This plant is one of the special things found at Howe Ridding. It’s thought that it was planted for medicinal purposes around the ancient settlement you can still see traces of.
I’m not sure what it might have been used for, as I believe they tend to be on the poisonous side. So I won’t be trying it myself!
The deep green flowers are very unusual and of course you have to get low to see them.
