ice cream uncle...

...are becoming one of the 'vanishing trades' of Singapore.
Fortune tellers, tinsmiths, dairycarts, mask makers, knife sharpeners and letter writers are a thing of the past and the ice cream uncles are diminishing in numbers.

This dude at Clarke Quay however was doing great business and deep in his cart are blocks of flavoured icecreams. These are cut in thick slices and sandwiched between wafers or rainbow coloured bread slices!...if you look close at the cart there are loaves ready to go.
