Nesting time

When I did my daily walk around the village I spotted Mrs. Mallard on her nest on the castle moat. She's well camouflaged there as the nest is made of dead reeds and grasses which are a similar colour to her with a good scattering of her feathers too. I couldn't see how many eggs were there as she didn't move but I shall keep an eye on the nest.

This morning my drive was finished, there's an extra photo of part of it. It's made from patterned concrete and looks really good.  A neighbour is having hers started on Saturday and another neighbour has had a quote so it's a good advert for the firm.
