By the time we'd gone over to our friends' house to do a final bit of watering in their greenhouse before they return early next week, done the shopping and made some bread, it had turned into another warm Spring day so we spent the afternoon giving the garden a preliminary tidy up.

The extra is one Kate sent me of Sophie's delight when they arrived at Nursery this morning to find that the chicken eggs they'd been keeping in an incubator had hatched. Apparently she told Kate she was going to watch them all day, apart from when she had her lunch.
