Devoid of emotion

We won the quiz last night :-)
Didnt sleep well, just couldnt get off, then when I did I kept waking up :-/

Chilly first thing this morning, but we had decided on a drive out to Crosby, regardless.
First stop was Crosby Coffee, had an early lunch there, the we walked to find a friends new venture, a lovely little deli with lots of nice things......of course we bought a few;-)

Then we headed back towards the car, dropped off our purchases and took a walk along the promenade. They are still reconstructing some of the sanddunes, so we had to walk down onto the beach, which caused hubs knee a problem, had to find somewhere to sit for a while! He did manage to make it to the icecream van though ;-)

Todays blip is one of expressionless faces of the Ironmen.......yet somehow they all seem to be looking at something, someone across the beach, a boat out at sea, who knows!

We still managed to top 10k steps whilst we were out. Once back home I made chicken noodle soup for dinner tonight, but no doubt we will have a little treat later, with a nice glass of Rioja....all courtesy of our earlier purchases.

Ive started with a sore throat this evening, so think I am going to get a cold.....this will be the third one since Christmas :-( hadnt had anything in the previous 9/10 months, so frustrating!!

Time to catch up on some tv now, wishing you all a good weekend :-)
