Wanderings & Witterings

Life

Earlier this week, a new public artwork promoting mental health services was unveiled in the Carbrain area of Cumbernauld. The work, entitled Paths for Life, is made up of 40 individual stepping stones designed and created by community members.

It is part of a partnership between Impact Arts, Suicide Prevention North Lanarkshire and the Local Community Partnership Team. The project was developed by a steering group also involving NHS Lanarkshire and Carbrain & Hillcrest Community Council.

I read the above press release on social media yesterday and so went down to Carbrain Gully to see the artwork for myself this afternoon. Today's blip is a composite image of some of the tiles.
